Another unforgettable experience with HGO. From the warm welcome to dinner at The 7 Devils, we felt like family before the hunt even began.
No harvest this time, but the peace, perspective, and camaraderie were more than enough. Wes and Andy are top-notch guides, and Lauren brought such joy to camp.

You would be hard pressed to find another outfitter like these guys. From the booking process, the way they treated Will (12yo son) and to the efforts they put forth to ensure we had the most opportunity, the HGO crew made it happen. We both were able to harvest trophies.
Trying to put this experience into words is tough, but here it goes.
Hunting with the crew at HGO is like spending a week with a bunch of Maine boys who somehow ended up in Idaho. I’d come back and spend a week with them even without a gun - that’s how much fun they are to be around. Andy, Karen, Wes, Caleb, Andrew, and Nick made us feel completely welcome from the moment we arrived. They’ve mastered the art of hospitality.
The hunting? Almost secondary… almost. We went 5 for 5 on bear. The grounds are incredible, the dogs are world-class, and the team works like a well-oiled machine.
My two boys and I had a week we’ll never forget. Thanks a ton for the memories. Love y’all!”

Our trip into the Seven Devils with HGO was unforgettable. Stunning alpine lakes, incredible fishing, and sure-footed horses made every day memorable. Andy, Karen, and their dog Niqua were the perfect hosts - kind, capable, and fun to be around.
We’re vegan, and every meal was still fantastic - they went out of their way to accommodate us while keeping the whole group happy. The view from Heaven’s Gate into Hells Canyon was absolutely breathtaking.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience this wild, beautiful place.
